Perry Central Evacuated After Bomb Threat

Update: All-clear was given. Students are back in the building at Perry Central High School and were greeted with a warm chicken biscuit!

PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Perry County Central High School has been evacuated due to a bomb threat, the school system confirms.

According to a post, students were evacuated and police are inspecting the building. Due to cold temperatures, the students were placed onto running buses to stay warm.

Once the building has been checked, students will be brought back into their classrooms.
