LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lane closures for New Circle Road will be in effect starting Friday night as part of the widening project in Lexington.
The construction includes Georgetown Road to Boardwalk Avenue. In addition, the interchange is being reconstructed at Newtown Pike.
New Circle Road/KY 4 at Newtown Pike/KY 922
Friday, November 16 through Saturday, November 17 – 7 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Saturday
- the left/fast lanes will be closed on the Inner and Outer Loops of New Circle Road at Newtown Pike (milepoint 9.332)
o the closures are necessary for a crane to be moved into place
o the crane is necessary for the next scheduled bridge beam setting operations
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
