FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A former Franklin County teacher arrested on the job last month for alcohol intoxication had her case heard by a judge Tuesday.

Tamatha Bradley’s attorney entered a not guilty plea in court. She was arrested at Collins Lane Elementary in Frankfort. School staff reported to law enforcement that Bradley smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on her feet while standing.

The superintendent released a statement to LEX 18 saying this was a personnel matter, but ‘our highest priority is on the safety and well-being of our students.”

Bradley is scheduled to be back in court on February 12.
