Tip Leads To Child Porn Arrest

FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18)– Attorney General Andy Beshear announced Friday that a Shelbyville man was arrested and charged with 100 counts of allegedly possessing child porn.

Joseph Steve Gable, 62, was arrested Friday and charged with 100 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor after a search of his residence uncovered hundreds of images of child pornography stored on his computer hard drives, according to a press release from Beshear’s Cyber Crimes Unit.

Beshear’s office received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an unknown individual was uploading child porn from a Shelbyville residence. Their investigation led them to Gable, according to the press release.
