LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A UK student has pleaded not guilty to what police are calling an “unsubstantiated threat” made involving the university on social media.

19-year-old Haily Duvall, of Glasgow, is accused of making a threat that involved the White Hall classroom building. Now the teen must stay off the university’s campus.

She appeared via video monitor to answer to charges of terroristic threatening and falsely reporting an incident.

Students at the university, including Duvall herself, sent LEX 18 screenshots of the Snapchats. One said, “White Hall is about to be white ashes along with every *expletive* student in it.” Another said, “Thirsty Thursdays are about become ticking time bomb Thursdays.”

UK Police Chief Joe Monroe tells LEX 18 that the posts have been deleted and that they were posted while the person was on campus.

Duvall’s pastor is expected to post bond for her. He spoke to LEX 18’s Leigh Searcy and told her Duvall had a troubled upbringing in foster care.
