Woman Arrested In Connection With Violent Robbery At Gas Station

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman is in jail after being accused of a violent robbery that left the victim with several injuries.

The incident happened around 7 p.m., Nov. 1, at the Valero gas station on Augusta Drive.

According to an arrest citation, the victim told police she was assaulted in front of the business by two women, one later identified as Katelyn Berryman.

The victim tells police Berryman hit her with her hands and feet, and the other woman hit her with a baseball bat.

The two suspects then allegedly stole the victim’s bag of merchandise from the store.

The victim says she knows the two suspects.

She obtained a fractured nose, orbital bone, and forearm during the incident.

Berryman is charged with first-degree robbery.
