LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– A Louisville man has entered a guilty plea to murdering his girlfriend and then living with her dead body for days.
Jonathan Herndon has received a 28-year sentence for the 2016 murder of Constance Thomas.
Police say Herndon hit Thomas in the head, then covered her with a garbage bag, and hid the body under a mound of clothes in his apartment in the West Buechel area of Louisville.
We’re told that by the time police found Thomas, she had been dead for several days.
