SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Pike County native is dead in a crash that occurred outside the Toyota plant early Friday morning.
The crash happened on Cherry Blossom Way in Georgetown. The road was shut down for hours for reconstruction. Officials say a semi cab without a trailer and a red pickup truck hit each other.
Michael Fonner, a Pike Countian who had moved to Georgetown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi driver was interviewed at the scene and let go. The scene is now clear.
