BEAUTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – One person is dead following a house fire in Martin County.
Kentucky State Police are conducting a death investigation after they were called to a structure fire on Popular Fork.
The post dispatched an arson investigator and a detective to the scene.
As the investigation began, the remains of one person were located.
The deceased was removed and taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy and positive identification.
Foul play is not suspected.
