LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A driver is in custody and a victim is in the hospital after a hit and run in Lexington.
It happened at about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday morning at the intersection of Winchester and Liberty roads.
Police found the victim lying in the roadway.
A witness followed the vehicle and was able to lead police to the suspect at a town home off Liberty Road.
He faces several charges including DUI and fleeing and evading.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening.
The roadway is open.
