PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– KSP said that a young man is dead after a crash on KY 1469 in Virgie.
The crash happened just after 4 p.m.
Kentucky State Police troopers responded to the scene and determined that 20-year-old Jordan Wright, of Jonancy, was operating a motorcycle eastbound on KY 1469 when the vehicle travelling eastbound in front of him made a U-turn and Wright’s motorcycle struck the vehicle in the driver’s door.
Wright was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to Frankfort for an autopsy.
No charges have been filed at this time and the case remains under investigation.
