Austin D. Schooler

Authorities arrested 24-year-old Austin D. Schooler on Monday and charged him with first-degree assault in the case. Schooler’s next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 25.

Lexington police also said Tuesday that the man wounded in the incident is alive.

While his condition was not immediately disclosed, Sgt. Aaron Greenleaf said he was stable.
