LEXINGTON (LEX 18) — Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in Lexington is $50,000 richer, lottery officials said Monday.

Officials said the ticket was sold at the Marathon gas station at New Circle and Georgetown roads.

The winning numbers in Saturday’s Powerball drawing were: 11-14-32-43-65; Powerball: 15: Power Play: 3.

No one matched all the winning numbers, and the jackpot is pushing toward record territory. It currently stands at $345 million with a cash option of $199 million.

While that’s a huge payout, it pales in comparison to the Mega Millions jackpot.

That lottery’s jackpot currently stands at $654 million with a cash option of $372 million. It’s already the fourth lottery jackpot on record and just a hair under the third highest payout.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday night, with Powerball’s next drawing on Wednesday evening.

The chance of winning the Mega Millions jackpot is 1 in about 303 million. The chase of winning the Powerball jackpot is 1 in about 292 million.
