LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A memorial service has been scheduled to honor the late Sister Michael Leo Mullaney, a former administrator at Saint Joseph Hospital.
She passed away Sept. 26 at the age of 96.
Mullaney served as hospital administrator for 22 years before serving as president of The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Healthcare System from 1988-1992.
She also helped contribute to the enhancement of health care across the state.
The service is slated for 1 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Blakely Auditorium at Saint Joseph Hospital. It is open to the community.
