(LEX 18)– The Kentucky Lottery will be giving away 250 free Mega Millions tickets in honor of the third largest jackpot in the game’s history.
The $548 million jackpot is also the ninth largest in US jackpot history.
Kentucky Lottery will give away free Mega Millions tickets to the first 250 players who show up to the Kroger on Richmond Road in Lexington.
T-shirts and other items will also be given away.
The event is this afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
