JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A business in the Clover Bottom Valley was heavily damaged Monday morning in a fire.
When firemen arrived, flames were blazing through the roof of Phoenix Products Factory, approximately 30 to 40 feet in the air.
The storage building, which had aerospace manufacturing products inside, is a total loss.
The owner told LEX 18 that he thinks they lost at least a half a million dollars in the fire, mostly electronic test equipment and metal machine components for their products.
No one was inside when the fire happened.

The big concern here this morning is the fog now mixed with smoke. This photo was about 10 minutes north of the factory. If you’re driving through the Clover Bottom area, the Jackson County Emergency Management team asks that you drive slow and with caution. @LEX18News pic.twitter.com/fhZpDktt6b
