LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash involving a school bus on Ky 30.
The crash happened around 4:08 p.m. on October 5.
Deputies report that the car, occupied by a driver and a child, apparently struck a Laurel County School bus in the rear. They say that the school bus had activated its stop arm equipment and slowed to a stop when struck in the rear by the car.
No one on the bus was injured, according to deputies.
The driver and passenger of the car were flown to UK Medical Center for the treatment of serious injuries.
