CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Kentucky State Police have ruled the recent death of a Clay County woman as accidental.
The body of Carol Miller was found Tuesday near a grocery store in Manchester on Highway 421.
A couple walking alongside the road found Miller in the ditch and called 911.
The coroner says she suffered a broken neck from her fall and that’s what killed her. He says she did suffer a minor head injury on Monday evening, but that did not lead directly to her death.
People reportedly last saw her around town on Monday night between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
