BELL COUNTY. Ky. (LEX 18)– A 19-year-old was arrested in Bell County after being accused of a shooting that sent another teen to the hospital.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. Thursday night in Middlesboro.
Police say they got a call about a gunshot wound victim arriving at the hospital.
A caller said Billy Vanover shot Dillion Overton in the hand.
Police later found Vanover at a local trailer park.
After interviewing both the victim and suspect, Vanover was charged with first-degree assault.
Overton was treated and released from the hospital.
