Shot Fired After Apparent Road Rage Incident

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police say that a gunshot was fired along a busy road in Jessamine County after an apparent case of road rage.

It happened a little before 6 p.m. on US 27 near Branon Crossing.

Nicholasville Police said that after the driver of one car cut another off, both stopped, and one of the drivers got out and fired a shot into the air.

Both drivers then left the scene.

No injuries have been reported.
