BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Three family members have died in an early morning fire in Boyle County.
Boyle County Fire Chief Donnie Sexton tells LEX 18 that the blaze was called in about 4:15 a.m. at a home along Kentucky Highway 1108.
Sexton said the bodies of three people were found after crews knocked down the flames.
The Boyle County Coroner identified the three killed as Haley Stratton, 24, Scarlett Cloyd, 12, and 10-month-old Layne Gastineau.
Family tells LEX 18 that Stratton was also pregnant.
The coroner could not confirm that as he said autopsy results are pending. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
Kentucky State Police are investigating what might have started the fire.
