Coroner’s Office IDs Jackson Co Fire Victim

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Jackson County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was killed in a trailer fire.

The fire broke out at the home on Route 421.

First responders discovered a body after being called to put out the fire. They combed through the scene for several hours.

The deputy coroner says the victim is Aaron Vanwinkle, 30. His cause of death is still unknown at this time. His body has been taken to autopsy.

Vanwinkle was the only person inside the home when the fire broke out.
