LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a church bus stolen from Victory Baptist Church.
They say that church officials stated they last saw the vehicle on Sunday and noticed it missing on Wednesday. The vehicle is a navy colored Chevrolet 3500 church bus with Victory Baptist Church painted on the side of the bus.
The sheriff’s office said that there have been reports that a vehicle similar to the stolen church bus has been seen in the Laurel County area, but the vehicle has a brown stripe painted over where the wording would be.
