FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — A judge postponed Wednesday the sentencing for a woman convicted of being complicit in a 2016 robbery and fatal shooting.

Brooke Kennedy was among several people accused in the robbery and murder of an off-duty pizza delivery driver in Frankfort.

Jared Banta, a 19-year-old Western Hills High School graduate, was killed in the December 2016 crime, which was caught on cell phone video.

Police say that in December 2016, Banta came to the Country Hills Apartment, believing he was going to sell Victorya Paige Young some pot, when her intent was to rob him with the help of four others.

Kennedy was accused of sitting in a car next to Banta’s when he was shot and killed.

Krishaun Mays is the one who police say pulled the trigger, while Kendrick Burton is charged with robbery and complicity to murder.
