CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — An inmate who allegedly walked away from a women’s recovery home in Kings Mountain is back in custody, law enforcement officials said Wednesday.
Authorities said 46-year-old Jennifer Shackelford of Middleboro was reported missing about 12:30 a.m. from Liberty Ranch.
She was believed to have left the facility only minutes before Kentucky State Police were notified.
A deputy jailer found Shackelford later Wednesday morning walking along a gravel road near Bryant Ridge Road.
