WINCHESTER, Ky. (LEX 18) – Officials in Clark County recovered a vehicle stolen from a Perry County shopping center. The owner’s dog, Beam, had been in the vehicle at the time of the theft and thankfully was unharmed.

Hazard Police received a call that a 1993 Ford Ranger was stolen from a female while she was shopping at a local store. The owner’s dog was inside that car along with her cell phone. Officers pinged the phone in or around Winchester.

Around noon, Clark County Sheriff’s deputies found the truck alongside the Mountain Parkway. The truck, along with Beam, were in good condition.

Beam will be reunited with his owner sometime this evening.
