Man Pleads Not Guilty To String Of Burglaries

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – A man accused in a string of burglaries pleaded not guilty Tuesday to the charges.

Lexington Police arrested Terry Wayne Rogers on Saturday.

Rogers currently is facing counts of third-degree burglary in seven different cases.

Among the cases: According to court documents, investigators believe Rogers stole a Dodge Ram truck from Doris’ Preowned Appliances on Winchester Road on July 17.

An arrest citation states that Rogers also admitted to breaking into two Lexington businesses and stealing keys, a vehicle and some change out of a register on Aug. 30 and Sept. 1.

Rogers has been arrested for similar crimes in the past. In November of 2015, he was arrested for allegedly burglarizing 8 different businesses and garages across Lexington.

Rogers has previously been featured as the Crimestoppers Most Wanted Person of the Week.
