Man Charged With DUI After Crashing Through Fence, Injuring Horse

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police arrested a man for driving under the influence after they say he crashed through a fence on the city’s north side and injured a horse.

Authorities say 40-year-old Jose Antwone Kemper crashed through a fence about 10:30 a.m. Sunday along the 3500 block of Georgetown Road.

Officials say a horse was injured but did not immediately provide more details.

Kemper was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

He was being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.
