LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two houses that were shot at on Monday in Lexington were shot at again early Wednesday morning.

Two people are in custody but more are still on the run.

Police received the first call out to Mirror Lake Drive around 12:30 a.m. and the second call around 2:30 at the 500 block of Georgetown Street.

The addition of these two shootings brings the total since Monday morning to at least 11 shootings this week.

So far, only one person has died, a 15-year-old boy.

When police arrived at the home on Mirror Lake Drive Wednesday morning near Man O' War and Buckhorn drive, they found shell casings and damage to the home. Other officers who were in the area at the time of the shooting saw a black vehicle leaving and tried to catch up, without avail. Not long after, however, the vehicle was found wrecked at the intersection of Man O' War and Rapid Run Drive. That is when two individuals were taken into custody.

Two hours later when police arrived at Georgetown Street, they found dozens of shell casings and say two people were seen getting into a brown car and leaving the area.

Thankfully no one was hurt in either of Wednesday morning's shootings.

Anyone with tips about any of the shootings since Monday are asked to give Lexington police a call.
