RICHMOND, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Richmond arrested two juvenile males who are accused of injuring a pizza delivery worker during an armed robbery Tuesday evening.

Authorities said police were called out about 10:45 p.m. to a report of a robbery on Evansdale Avenue.

The victim told police he was delivering pizzas when two assailants, one of whom "was armed with appeared to be a rifle," accosted him and demanded money.

The man said that after a struggle the suspects took his pizza and wallet.

Police said "the victim sustained a minor injury during the struggle."

Richmond police officials said investigators identified two male juveniles as the suspects. In general, police do not identify minors accused of crimes.

Police said the juveniles acknowledged committing the crime and were charged with first-degree robbery.
