LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person is dead after a collision that happened on Newtown Pike and West Second Street around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
According to police, they tried to stop a vehicle, which then fled, lost control, and hit another vehicle.
Police say one adult driver died at the scene.
The Fayette County Coroner's Office and the Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene.
The coroner has identified the person who died as 24-year-old Marvin Nahun Reyes-Rodriguez.
Police are still investigating the collision.
