WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Monticello man was arrested Sunday on an assault warrant, stemming from an alleged altercation over face coverings at a local Walmart.
Police say Johnny Gibson grabbed a Walmart employee Saturday morning, around her neck, after they say she told him he would need to put a mask on before entering the store.
The incident was recorded on the store's video security system.
Gibson is charged with fourth-degree assault.
