LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — There have been 117 new cases of COVID-19 reported over the weekend in Lexington.
The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department says there were 48 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday and 69 on Sunday.
On Sunday, Gov. Andy Beshear announced the highest single-day increase of COVID-19 cases in the state of Kentucky, which included 979 new cases across the state with three new deaths.
