Kentucky up to 7,688 COVID-19 cases, 334 deaths

FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gov. Andy Beshear didn't hold a press briefing on Saturday, but he did send out a short video updating Kentuckians on COVID-19 in the state of Kentucky.

He announced Saturday that there are 244 new COVID-19 cases and two new deaths.

That brings the total number to 7,688 COVID-19 cases and 334 coronavirus-related deaths in the state.

Of the 7,688 cases, there have been 2,768 recoveries.

Gov. Beshear added that there are 438 people in the hospital with 270 in the ICU.
