Kentucky up to 13,197 COVID-19 cases, 520 total deaths

FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gov. Andy Beshear announced that there are 13,197 COVID-19 cases and 520 coronavirus-related deaths in the state of Kentucky.

Thursday's results include 234 new cases and three new deaths. There have been 3,506 recoveries.

"While we have had more cases today than we had yesterday, it still remains in a manageable area," said Gov. Beshear.

There was also an update on the Team Kentucky Fund.

As of Thursday, the number of households that have been helped by the Team Kentucky Fund are 421, with a total value $350,215. There are 398 applications pending approval.
