FRANKFORT, KY (LEX 18) — During his daily news conference on the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Andy Beshear takes time to highlight good that is happening in Kentucky. At the beginning of the outbreak in Kentucky, Governor Beshear made a call to action to promote good news on social media using the hashtags #TeamKentucky, #TogetherKy and #Patriot.

This represents #TeamKentucky #TogetherKY #socialdistancing #loveourstudents This morning while on a Zoom call with the school leader, Stacy Story, from Lincoln County Middle School a student came to the school to turn in their NTI packet of school work for the week in their drop box. She said hold on a minute! Jumped up from her chair and ran to the window to have a conversation with the kiddo through the glass. They yelled back and forth across the window about his week and before he left they shared a high-five moment for all his hard work! This is what it is all about!
