FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gov. Andy Beshear announced during his Monday press conference that there are 323 new cases of COVID-19, bringing Kentucky's COVID-19 case total to 31,508.

"That is 323 too many," Gov. Beshear said. "But after having days in the 500 and 600s, after having a Sunday that was higher than today, this is at least good news for today."

There are 612 Kentuckians with coronavirus that are hospitalized, 136 of which are in the ICU.

Gov. Beshear also announced two new coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Kentucky's coronavirus-related death total to 744.
