2,625 new cases of COVID reported in Kentucky on Thursday, positivity rate continues to go down

(LEX 18) — 2,625 new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Thursday.

Of those cases, 643 belong to the 18 and younger age group.

The state's positivity rate continues to lower, now sitting at 8.67%.

50 COVID deaths were reported.

Currently, 1,578 people are hospitalized, 472 in ICUS, and 313 on ventilators.
