PARIS, Ky. (LEX 18) — A somber celebration happened in Bourbon County over the weekend.
People gathered at Wesley's Place in Paris to remember the life of Wesley Mullins.
Mullins would have turned 19 on September 1.
It has been 12 years since Mullins, then age 6, was raped and murdered by his grandfather's roommate.
The mission of Wesley's Place is to promote child abuse prevention and to help children that have been abused.
