Four arrested in connection to Bath County stabbing death

BATH COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police say that four people were arrested and charged today in connection to a Bath County stabbing death.

Police say 20-year-old Shannon T. McCarty of Owingsville is charged with murder and harboring a fugitive.

42-year-old Priscilla Ann Hunt of Morehead is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and harboring a fugitive.

18-year-old Joslyn Brooks of Stanton is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and harboring a fugitive.

40-year-old Krystal Gail Hardin of Owingsville is charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

The Bath County Coroner identified 41-year-old Christopher Bussell as the victim on Main Street in Owingsville.

Police have confirmed Bussell was found dead around 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Police say he was face down with a stab wound. His death is being ruled as a homicide.
