UPDATE: March 18 at 10 p.m.
The Somerset community is grieving the deaths of three people killed in a house fire early Tuesday morning.
78-year-old Norma Dean Putteet, 55-year-old Jerry Todd Putteet, and 17-year-old BriLee Kay Putteet died as a result of the fire.
BriLee was a student at Southwestern High School, where she played for the school's softball team. She lit up a room and often encouraged those around her, Jason Conley, pastor at Oak Hill Baptist Church, said.
"(The) "biggest takeaway for me is to always be prepared that life has no guarantees, we're not promised the next second or next minute, so to live faithfully and to love the people you love the most and love them hard like BriLee did," Conley said.
Sue Childers is struggling to wrap her head around the loss of her sister, Norma.
"She was wonderful," Childers said. "It's hard for me to wrap my mind around it and that's a blessing from the Lord. This is a monumental loss and if we weren't numb I don't think our bodies mentally we could absorb that at once."
