LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — It’s been a busy week for Lexington police with multiple shootings in the city, including one that resulted in death.

On Wednesday night, a family came home to find bullet holes in their home on Rittenhouse Court in the Winburn area. No one was hurt in that incident, and police said they do not have any suspects in the case.

That shooting followed several others this week.

On Monday, two other homes were shot up on Camelot Court. No one was injured.

But on Tuesday evening, a man was mortally wounded when someone shot through the back door of a home in the Masterson Station neighborhood.

Then on Wednesday evening around 7 p.m. a woman was shot and injured on Daniel Court.

Despite the spate of gun violence, Lexington homicides are slightly down this year compared with last year.
