The Lexington native, who played at Tates Creek and Western Kentucky University, has been an assistant coach at Texas since 2015. Before that, he was a head coach at South Carolina and WKU.
Horn takes over a Northern Kentucky program that just went to the NCAA Tournament before then-head coach, John Brannen left the Norse to take over at Cincinnati.
