LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – A man has died after a shooting at a Lexington Apartment complex, and now, police are searching for the suspect.
The shooting happened around 10:30 on Saturday night at Coolavin apartments on West Sixth Street.
Police say 24-year-old Aaron Coney was shot in the upper body. He was taken to the hospital where he died early Sunday morning.
Lexington police say they are searching for 25-year-old Damarcus Jones, who is now wanted for murder in connection with this shooting.
Police say Jones and Coney had been involved in a disorder before shots were fired.
