FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) – As lawmakers pass more abortion bans this year, pro-life supporters celebrated in the capitol today.
They cheered pro-life lawmakers who say they are working on making Kentucky an abortion-free state. The rally also featured Governor Matt Bevin, who said he’s proud to be known as the most pro-life governor in America.
“Who wouldn’t want to be anything other than pro-life. I do not understand why we would want to celebrate the alternative. Who among us would want to celebrate the taking of innocent lives,” said Governor Bevin.
Lawmakers also spoke today, saying they will pass every abortion ban bill up for a vote this year.
