CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Clay County is one of the many areas dealing with problems because of this weekend’s heavy rain.
High water caused Manchester police officers to rescue two people from a vehicle
According to police, everyone was able to get out safely and was okay.
People in Manchester say the rain was coming fast and hard all night, it even caused a hill to give way, leaving yards covered in mud.
An entrance to this home is unusable for the time being because of all the mud and debris in this yard.
The yards of some other homes were flooded with a couple feet of water.
Between Tuesday and Sunday morning Clay County received about 4 1/2 inches of rain.
