LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Hundreds of Kentucky Wildcat fans brought the heat early Saturday morning and filled Rupp Arena for ESPN’s College GameDay.
Festivities took place ahead of UK’s match-up against Kansas.
“The wildcats deserve to be number one. We’re gonna win today and then beat Tennessee in a couple weeks,” said fan Lance Schmidt.

Coach Cal urged Big Blue Nation to bring the noise and that’s exactly what they did for ESPN cameras.
“We’re obviously huge wildcat fans. We got up at 5:45 a.m. to get in line,” said Courtney Brown.
It was clear some fans wanted to stand out and get their faces on ESPN, but it was little Braylon Jones who stole the show.
He caught the attention of the crew on the court with his dance moves and Wildcat head.
