GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Boyle County Coroner has identified the woman killed in a crash on Saturday evening in Garrard County.
According to the coroner, Mary Saylor, 78, of north Garrard County was pronounced dead at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center.
Even though the crash happened in Garrard County, the Boyle County coroner was called because she was taken to the hospital in Danville.
Kentucky State Police told LEX 18 the crash happened on US 27 around 5:40p.m. on Saturday.
KSP troopers say a pickup truck was pulling out from Sutton Lane onto US 27 when it was t-boned by a gold minivan heading south on 27.
The coroner says Saylor was a passenger in the van heading south.
Other people involved were taken to the hospital, but there’s no update on their conditions.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
