HARRISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a pursuit where shots were fired in Harrison County.

The sheriff tells LEX 18 deputies observed a suspect speeding through the Thrift Food Mart parking lot. The driver was identified as 32-year-old Jerry Hall, who had an active Probation and Parole warrant.

Reportedly Hall would not stop, and we’re told the Cynthiana Police Department and Harrison County Sheriff’s Office were involved in a chase on US-62.

Reportedly shots were fired during the pursuit. The sheriff says an officer fired the shots but no one was hit by the gunfire. They are not releasing that officer’s name at this time.

KSP says a pit maneuver was used to force the Hall to crash and end the pursuit.

Hall is reportedly now in custody facing several charges including DUI and wanton endangerment.
