LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash on I-75 that left one man with serious injuries.
Reportedly the wreck happened shortly before 8:30a.m. on Sunday in the southbound lane about 1 mile north of London.
Deputies believe a pickup truck heading south lost control, rolled and the driver was thrown from the truck.
The sheriff’s office reports that the driver, later identified as Trevor Alan Richardson, 23, of Mount Vernon, was taken to a local hospital and then to UK Medical Center in Lexington. He suffered serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
